I had a B going into the O-chem final, the exam was not what I was expecting and ended up with a C+ in O-Chem. Is it worth retaking?

Most schools websites say that they do not accept grades lower than C-, so I think you should be fine. But its totally up to you. I would not retake ochem if your other science grades are A's and B's. I don't think one C+ will prevent you from getting into dental schools. (It also depends on the school) But again its totally up to you.

Good luck

That depends if you want to go to dental school or not

A C+ in ochem is not going to prevent the OP from going to dental school, unless of course they already have a bunch of other C/D/F's on their transcript. Just put in some extra study time for that section of the DAT and show dschools you can handle it.

I got a C+ in O Chem 1 and a C in O Chem 2. Still got into dental school. Just do well on the DAT and in all of your other classes.
