An intern to begin her CA-1 year this July has begged off. So I unexpectedly have an opening.
Us: Level 1 trauma Center in the Midwest. About 20 residents/20 attendings. Almost all rotations (less 1 to 2 months) done at main hospital or ambulatory surgery center. Program is at a county hospital without the county-hospital feel. No fellows -- so it's just you (the resident) and the patient.
You: Step 1 - passed on the first attempt with a scaled score above 80. No failures/remediations in medical school. Good grades in medical school. Research/independent projects a plus. Completed/completing intern year in good standing.
PM me for more details.
