CA Laws & Ethics - Help please!

I did research all over SDN and Dentaltown. Asked my friends who took the exam and they had little information in how to prepare for this exam.

I got the 2008 Dental practice act and it's some unholy book of like 450+ pages. I was told to read the CDA code of ethics.

My wife and I are taking the exam this coming weekend, what should we concentrate on in this huge book?

I have taken two other laws exams (FL and Ohio) and most questions were something similar to CE requirements, delegation procedures allowed to assistants, advertising. Should we focus on stuff like this?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

You can take a really easy online course and get CA ce units for it. Go to the California Dental Board website for class referrals.

It's a really easy test, takes all of 20 minutes to finish. You only need a 75% to pass.

I got the links and am taking a CE online course through CDA for prep. Very straight forward.

I assumed it would be like FL and there would be a DPA that would be concise, when I received the 450+ page book, I was amazed.

CDA has a $49 course that is excellent and gives 2CE hours as well. Very comprehensive.
