Do you think what I'm shooting for is unrealistic? Hoping the upward trend in my GPA will be seen but not sure if i will be screened out from the average

So I am going to ask about which activities are non clinical and show service orientation. You have a lot of fundraising but that could go under advocacy (gun safety policies). Where are you in community with this in distress who are of a different group than your own, given your intended PS theme.

Tutoring is a separate category, and every premed application seems to have it so it doesn't help you stand out.

Any primary care? What other languages do you have fluency? Have you networked with affinity medical school organizations?

You must have a strong mission fit argument and have the activities to back you up for the strongest application possible. Your lack of service orientation puts you at risk of getting screened out.

Thanks for your response.

With AMWA, we used to give out clothing we had collected to the female homeless populations in the area. I know the gun safety goes under advocacy but many times our info sessions became ways for gun violence survivors to open up about their trauma and we spent a lot of time essentially counseling them and referring them to treatment. Since I was a TA for college students, but a tutor for low-income elementary school children with low-income language barriers i thought at least the latter could count for nonclinical volunteer. I have also worked with Habitat for humanity to build houses, though only about 30 hrs. Would any of that work/what would I need to not get screened out?

In terms of primary care, the urgent care clinic was essentially that, just in the format of an urgent care setting. I am fluent in Kannada (an indian language i have not yet seen listed on a medical schools' demographic yet, and basic basic proficiency in french, little to no spanish. I have not networked with affinity medical school orgs and haven't even heard of them. How would I use that to my advantage?
