Trying to narrow my list...Any of these Schools especially unfriendly to Out of State applicants?

Loyola Chicago
St. Louis University
Creighton
Georgetown
Tulane
Med College of Wisconsin
Oregon H&S
Rosalind Franklin
Rush Medical College
Michigan State University College of Human Medicine
NY Medical College
Drexel
Jefferson Medical College
Penn State University
University of Vermont
GWU
University of Toledo

Especially unfriendly to OOS? No. But Michigan State is quite costly. Schools like Drexel and GWU may also be more competitive than they appear based on numbers alone. Drexel gets more applications than almost any other school.

I would recommend applying to OHSU, especially if you have strong clinical ECs and/or are more primary care oriented. They seem to be pretty receptive to OOS applicants overall and accept quite a good number every year (unfortunate for Oregon residents). From reading past OHSU threads, it seems that the school gets relatively little funding from the state as reflected in their high tuition for both in state an out of state students. Many SDNers from non-WICHE states have reported getting acceptances the last 2 cycles (myself included), so I think it's worth a shot.
