So I’m applying this coming summer.
What would be the best time to travel between interviews and second look? I’m hoping to apply as soon as possible and pre write my secondaries, so the app will likely be in 6/3 and the secondaries will be sent back fairly soon after they get sent to me. I would like to do a little traveling before med school, and since that starts in the end of July, I was thinking February and March might be a good time.
Second line of questions: I took Calc 2, but opted for Pass/ no pass grading because I was taking an overloaded schedule and wanted to focus on Organic Chemistry (I don’t regret this as I got an A in Orgo, and then went on to do Organic Chemistry/ Pharmaceutical research for 2.5 years). I also have completed Calc 1, and two stats courses for grades, thus completing most math requirements. One, will that hurt me at all, and two are there any schools that explicitly require Calc 2? If so, would that count?
Oh, and just a quick other question, does Intro to Psych factor into BCPM? What about Thesis if it were in a science field?
