Just wanted to make sure that I have this down correctly - PTH and calcitonin are antagonistic in terms of regulating serum Ca2+ levels, but have the same effect on serum phosphate by reducing phosphate reabsorption in the kidneys? Does anything work to increase serum phosphate or is it generally excreted?
