Calculating AADSAS GPA

I'm not apply for schools this session but I was wondering if I can see what my AADSAS gpa looks like compared to my transcript gpa since people have said it will be different.

For +/- schools

A = 4.0
A- = 3.66
B+ = 3.33
B =3.0
B- = 2.66

Hopefully you didn't manage worse then this...

I had 2 F's as well. I heard someone saying that AADSAS counts them against your GPA even if you retook the class.

My school counts A- as 3.7. that's gonna hurt my GPA 🙁

If you retake a course, AADSAS will calculate both GPA. Say for example, I got an F in a 3 unit class the first time and retake it and get an A. The average of the grades will be a C, but the total units will be 6.

By the way, although A- on AADSAS is 3.667, its B+ is 3.333 so the .33 you lose from 3.7 will be somewhat compensated by the 3.333.

Yes is that is the grade you got for the class the first time around. If a B- is what you got taking the class for a second time then the 2 grades would be averaged.

My school does too, but it also counts a B+ as 3.3, not 3.33 like stated above in AADSAS. So in the end, it tends to balance out and I didn’t notice any difference.

However if all you earned all A’s and A-’s with nothing lower, then you may get a slight dip.

so you should only worry about calculating the grade if you retook a class?
