I'm having trouble figuring out my BCMP, I really only have the "C"? Each school has a different grading system, if someone can explain how medical/dental schools compute the gpa it would be much appreciated. I was also wanting some opinions if it would be in my best interest to retake o-chem 1, I don't feel confident with my knowledge to be successful in o-chem 2.

Gen Chem 1 Lec: B- 3 credits
Gen Chem 2 Lab: A- 1 credit
Gen Chem 2 Lec: A 3 credits
Gen Chem 2 Lab: B 1 credit
Organic Chem 1 Lec: C+ 3 credits
Organic Chem 1 Lab: B+ 1 credit

If you don't feel confident in ochem 1 it wouldn't hurt to retake. An A would look really good. Also to calculate your bcpm drop the + and - from your classes and just google a GPA calculator, that's the easy way

AADSAS will calculate your GPA for all schools.

I wouldn't retake Orgo 1 unless I was sure I'd get an A. Otherwise just take an easy science class you are certain you will do well in.

If you don't have a good grasp of organic 1 you won't do well in organic 2. You could potentially go
Organic 1: C, A
Organic 2: A
Which is a whole lot better than getting a c in both or even a C and then a B
