calculations on chem portion??

Would you have to to mathmatical calculations in questions in the science portion?
In practice exams I have seen anwer choices in a format such as: a) (9x30).15, but I have also seen questions where the math involves complex calculations like ((4x10^-11)/.1)^(1/2) and answer choices are not in an unsimplified format.

Yeah...the math worries me a bit as well. Someone who took the test recently said he only had like 2 calculations in the Gchem section. I am very reliant on my calculator, but i haven't used in a month now and I am trying to get better at estimating and rounding. From what I've seen the answers were far enough apart that you can get away with that. Even if there's mostly conceptual you can bet you will have some problems with some tricky math as well. I would def. be able to do stuff like estimate logs in pH questions.
