So I was goin thru the chemistry and physics constants that we have to use.. and since we don't get a calculator, does the OAT even bother to have questions containing these formulas (i.e. PV=NRT)? or do they provide whole number figures like: 0.08 instead of 0.0812 for R when they ask you these type of questions...

As far as I remember, you will get a whole number to use. You definitely need to know those types of formulas, though.
 
as i recall, the pv=nrt type equations were always used in such a way that the constants like r canceled out. hope that makes sense. most of the oat doesn't involve much calculation, it just requires that you know your material and formulas well enough to logic it out in our mind.
