I know this may be a silly question but is there a square root key on the calculator?

yes it shoudl have a square root key.

it looks like your standard windows calculator.

the one Kaplan gives in the online course doesn't have one, but then I really hope the calc on the real exam is better than Kaplan's, which is slow, unresponsive, and it's designed with colors that give the illusion of black dots between all of the buttons.
