Hi,

Can anyone recommend a good study guide for calculus? I took the class years ago but don't need the verbose details of a bulky textbook.

I tried the Cliffs Quick review but am looking for a bit more detail like a step-by-step guide to the key items (get to the main pts)

Thanks

Hi, I would personally recommend Kaplan's "Shortcut Calculus":

http://www.amazon.com/Shortcut-Calc...=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1282251660&sr=8-1

I took calc two years ago and I think it helped me quite a bit. It's straight forward and perfect for people who just need a quick review to remember how to do everything. Although, it doesn't go into TOO much detail and explain things, it basically shows you step by step how to do everything and gives you some examples. Good luck!

I suggest finding and doing as many problems as you can under timed conditions, when you approach a problem you arent too familiar with go to youtube and learn from there - I find that you have a better understanding of the topic when watching someone solve an example as compared to just reading out of a text.

good luck!👍
