"Calculus" vs "calculus with analytical geometry"

They are the same things, at least my college.
 
yes they both count for math

unless the school says "calc. engineering" I think you should be okay with taking the life science one
 
At our school, they removed the calculus and now only have calc with analytical geom., so they all count for calc requirement

We had the same course designations at my school. Either counted for pre-med purposes. The only people who took the calc w/ analytical geometry were the ones who were going to take the whole calc series and probably beyond. I did the ones w/o analytical geometry and then changed my mind to take the whole calc series.

So, I don't even think it's that huge a deal, except they got to use Maple and we didn't. Though I didn't find Maple very hard to start using.
