So here's my problem, during the spring semester, I had a notoriously bad professor for calculus, which prompted me to withdraw from the class. Would schools frown upon me taking it during the fall semester? I also have to take the PCAT...

i did the same thing. I withdrew from an awful professor and the class was taught at 7AM......the only choice I had that would fit into my schedule. It was a bad mix so I had to quickly withdraw. I still can't stand that man until today. His ratings were awful but I had no choice. The whole experience was a nightmare.

Calculus is required pre-requisite for just about every school. You need it and the only thing "frowned on" would be the W, not that you took it in a specific summer session or semester. Calculus is on the PCAT so you might want to hold off on the PCAT until you have taken the class or study your butt of to learn the basics for the PCAT.

I don't think anyone who took calculus in the Fall ever got into pharmschool.

i am takin it after i got accepted the summer before the fall of enrollment

That sucks. I don't know what else to say.

I love math!! 😍 i think the answer to the origin of life is found in math! it's what keep the world going...it's how things are built and problems are solved...it will give the answer to the universal theory, and there was three, in the beginning and in the end 😛

then why are you majoring in pharmacy......it has very little to do with math.

I withdrew from Calculus II this semester.
