This coming academic year begins August 4th from what I've heard. There are few days when we get off (MLK day and Presidents Day), and when we do have off, it's usually study time for a test the following day (as occurred several times this year). You are given off the day or two before Thanksgiving I think as well. Two weeks are given for winter break (about 3/4 days before Christmas). The year ends mid-May (May 16th for us this year). Please note-NO SPRING BREAK. Yes, LECOM took away the spring break a few years ago because they felt students came back unprepared to study again. Hmmm, fancy that. You'll get a calendar of classes, exams and days off during the 1st day of orientation for the 1st semester. Hope that helps.
