i know that all California schools dont require PCATS...i dotn no which california school i should apply to? which one is cheapest one? which one is the EASIEST one to get into? does your GPA have to be really good to get into a Cali school since there is no PCAT required?

You can search for the tuition and other stuff on their website. They should have them all on there plus their admission criteria.

yeah what's with all the *****ic threads started by people who can't do their own simple research...how did you people get through college??

thanks for the website....and also

how about if you're too stupid to do simple research, don't post a thread here?

here let me help you:

1) www.pharmcas.org
2) go to school directory
3) sort by state
4) compare stats, etc...

ill post as many stupid threads as i want too......and also...look who just did my hmwk for me muahahah

and also PHARMCAS doesnt have TEXAS school info

and also PHARMCAS doesnt have TEXAS school info

If they don't have Texas school information it means the school does not participate in PharmCAS...but PharmCAS has done you the favor and listed the schools so simply visit to the school's website and you'll find the info there.

keep it down people!! 🙂

arlington07...don't be surprised if people react the way they do towards you if you do in fact decide to create similar threads to this in the future.
it's your decision to apply to pharmacy school so it should be your initiative to at least search the forums first before asking these types of questions...i guarentee you there are a couple of threads already on here that can help you

im new to studentdoctor..how do you search for a specific topic? go threw all of em...

Perhaps you should understand why people are so offended; most of the people on here have done their own primary research. While SDN is a great resource and source of support among (pre) health professionals, it can be offensive when people have obviously not even done the very basic research about a profession that requires self-initiative and passion. It cheapens others' struggles on the difficult road to becoming a healthcare professional.

Check my sig. It's got links and a tutorial for search function, including advanced search.

In the mean time, most people would appreciate knowing where you looked before tossing out ideas so we don't duplicate your efforts.

I'm tellin' ya...just put "use the search function" and lock the thread.

look who just did my hmwk for me muahahah
Geeeeez, he/she didn't even do your hw for you, all he/she did was directing you how to do your hw,....with some sarcasm.

I understand you're new to the forum. Trust me, most people here are nice and willing to help, as long as you show some initiatives to have done your part right.

Hey arlington07,
You'll come to find that applying for pharmacy school is no cheap task, nor is it easy. California schools are highly sought after. That said, apply to them all. IMO, if you apply to many schools each year, it obviously increases your chances of getting into at least one school. More importantly, this will mean that you won't have to repeat the application process next year. In addition to going to the PharmCAS site, you can also go to http://www.aacp.org/ to find a list of all the pharmacy schools and their links.

in my opinion, ucsf and ucsd are the two hardest schools to get into because their tuition is lowest. Followed by usc, which is in LA with good weather and lots to do. UOP is probably tied with usc because they have a three year program which is very attractive. Touro and western next, and loma linda last because they are focused on religion as well as pharmacy.

loma linda would be hard for me because I can't think of a way to answer their essay question about SDA!

Tell them you'll convert if they let you in.
