any native californians out there?
where are you guys applying and which schools are you shooting for?
i went to ucla and want to go to either touro or western

Native Californian all the way here. I've been in Nor Cal all my life and love it! For that reason I only applied to Touro and was able to get accepted thru the EDP for this year. Good luck!

I'm a native So Cal guy. Graduated from ucla, too... back in '98. Definitely want to stay in California but my only hope is the wait list I'm on at Western for this fall.

Only applied to Western. Starting on the 11th.

Native San Francisco Bay Area - East Bay'er here. Applied to WesternU/COMP, TOURO and AZCOM last year. Waitlisted at Western. Will be applying to 10 this year (including those previously mentioned) if I don't get pulled off the waitlist. Was a CSU Grad in the days of the younger George Bush 🙂

I"m from Cali too.. went to UC Davis.. live in the Bay area,

I'm applying to every school I can get my hands on, but I'd really like to go to Touro!!

yeah touro sounds like a really awesome place; i've been in so cal all my life; except for last year when i did a masters at georgetown but other than that i've been here for a while so it would be cool to mix it up a little
i applied to tucom, comp, azcom, lecom, kcom, nova, ccom
nova sounds pretty cool too
i guess i'll be happy wherever there's an ocean
for those of you on waitlists right now; do you think it was because you applied later in the cycle?
i'm just curious about where i stand

As a fellow Californian, I have broken a cardinal rule by wanting to attend a school out-of-state over a in-state school... I know, I know, I'm horrible. I'm from Palo Alto (Stanford) and was very unimpressed with Touro and Western. To each his own though. I just think people have a huge misperception about what they think Touro will be like and until they visit, they have no clue. Anyway, I'm going to AZCOM this year. It's beautiful, new, has a great reputation and program. You have wakeboarding and boating at Havasu. Snowboarding in Flagstaff and Utah. And AZ is not very far from Vegas, San Diego, or LA. There's even an In-N-Out in Glendale.🙄

I think that you will find most of us that like Touro don't base our opinions on what the buildings look like. I made my choice of schools based on how the staff made me feel and how the education would be provided, not based on the look of a building. I have been in dormitory buildings at Stanford that are worse than the one at Touro, that doesn't mean I would say I was unimpressed with Stanford.

Grew up in Pasadena...went to UC San Deigo and still living here. I applied to TUCOM, CCOM, Western U, AZCOM, PCOM, UMDNJ, NYCOM., MSUCOM,.
