Hello my EMT brothers and sisters,
I recently pass the national registry as an EMT-B and I'm looking to do some volunteering. If you know of any fire station, hospital or any other opportunity that seeks volunteers, please inform. I've been searching online but no luck! Thanks.

After I passed my EMT-B, I got on as an ER tech at Ben Taub General. That was back in 1999, but they still use EMT-B's in the ED, so you may want to check them out...

I see. What are you doing in AZ bro? Can you share your pre med experience? Thanks.

Hi,

Please check the forums at http://www.texasemt.com/web/index.php you might find opportunities there. Also, congratulations on your EMT-B, it is a great way to gain clinical experience. More importantly, qualifying yourself in order to volunteer in a clinical setting speaks volumes about your commitment towards helping others. Becoming a Paramedic was one of the best decisions I made during my undergraduate education and, in my opinion, one of the best ways of helping patients by performing interesting, meaningful work before getting into medical school.

Hope the website helps.
