Call or email?

Hi guys,

So I mailed my application to LMU-DCOM and PCOM last week. The check hasn't been cashed yet, so I'm curious if they got it or if it was lost in the mail. For something as petty as this, should I email or call them? I feel with an email, they can take their time and get back to me when it's convenient for them (which is good). I don't want to make them rush just to check on my app when I call them.

I know it's a stupid neurotic question, especially since it's only been 2 weeks since I received/submitted secondaries. But for other schools like KCUMB and KCOM, does it look worse and is it more annoying to them if I email them about my application status? I'd prefer email... since I'll get an email response back that I can keep on record.

I mailed my LMU and PCOM last monday as well. One I sent via Check (LMU) that hasn't been cashed yet. PCOM I sent by Money Order. I'll probably give them to the end of the week before I start asking questions.

I think I'm going to at least email KCOM. I submitted my application almost 2 weeks from now and I haven't gotten a confirmation email with my portal login information.

I hope they don't think I'm being pushy. It's almost September though!
