Call schools if you didn't hear anything?

Is it okay to call a school to check on your status? I didn't hear anything at all from my top choice school but I know they gave out some acceptances yesterday. Or is it better to wait it out? I interviewed in august and have higher than average stats so I was expecting an acceptance call. Thanks

Why not. But dont call them daily to ask your progress once in a while is ok...

it will not impose any harm on your app. THEY KNOW HOW HARD WE WORK.

I am tempted to call, but I am afraid of annoying them or sounding desperate. I am sure the schools must be getting a ton of calls right now.

It is totally fine to call them if you have questions. Don't just call them to sound like you are anxious or desperate. I am pretty sure they know what kind of state we are in.

I hope this is not the case. I called regarding my status and the lady wasn't nice at all. She was like ummm, it is probably not a good idea to call and admissions officer regarding your status, keep checking the aadsas portal. I am thinking to myself if it is not a good idea to call the admissions officer about my status then WHO THE HELL SHOULD I CALL? lol.

Just a weird experience.

I just called Case Western because my AADSAS says that they needed more information since Aug. The lady was very condescending and short and treated me like a child. It turns out they put me on hold for my fall grades but I never got the snail mail that said so.
