Does anyone else do this? I haven't heard back from many schools yet, but I call a couple places I applied to at least a few times a week, not asking about my application or anything obnoxious like that XD, but just to say hi and ask how the secretaries' days are going. I love brightening their days, and I honestly think this does so much to improve my standing in their eyes. I mean, seriously how could you hope to become a doctor without being good at small talk?? This is just a fun, friendly way to exponentially improve my standing in their eyes, IMHO, and I honestly think you are completely selling yourself short if you don't do this too.
