Calling colleges

Seems quite a few people on the forum have called the various colleges to inquire about admissions timelines. Do you think they tire of everyone calling asking "did I get in??" Or is it ok to call once and ask?

At one college, they TOLD me to call and ask...then of course when I finally did, the answer was "well, we still don't know yet...we'll call you when we do."

You have the right to call, that's their job to answer questions.
