I've been meaning to speak to you for some time now, but it just keeps slipping my mind. My girlfriend is starting her 1st year of a Masters of Social Work program at Michigan State Univ. I was just curious on your thoughts about the social work environment. Did you enjoy it? Pros, Cons, etc. Any insight would be appreciated. She's especially interested in specializing in school social work. She wants to work with children. Once again any info you have would be great. Unfortunately, she doesn't have a great web site like this to bounce questions off of and gather info. Plus, the school hasn't been very helpful in advising her. It's quite unsettling. Trust this place is a Godsend. I've learned quite a lot about my future profession. Anyways, look forward to hearing from you.
