I've been calling a lot of the schools that I haven't heard from-- and they all seem to be okay with my pestering, but I do wonder if they jot down a note on my file each time I call...

Nobody's ever told me to stop calling, so I do wonder if I should continue doing what I've been doing (maybe every 1-2 weeks for my top schools).

Nah, I won't worry about it. They are probably used to people calling up all the time, and they know how nervous the applicants are.

I wouldn't worry about it either. Even if they DO write down each time you call, at least it shows you are interested and determined!

i think every week is a bit extreme and obnoxious.

i would say wait at least 1.5- 2 weeks between each call.
