I sent off my transcripts (and a couple of supplemental applications) two weeks ago. I haven't gotten any confirmation emails from anyone and the only school that seems to update that sort of thing is ISU's supplemental. I'm sure they either haven't gotten there yet or have yet to be processed but I don't want to just assume they got there. At what point did you/would you call to check that the schools have gotten them?

(If it helps at all, I'm applying to CSU, ISU, KSU, Illinois, Minnesota, Mississippi, VMRCVM and UPEI)

You can send an email to the admissions dept of each school. That's what I did last year. Less obtrusive and takes less time than calling each school.

You can e-mail or call, either or. Calling takes more of your time but sometimes they can be really sluggish getting back to you with an e-mail.

I was obsessive and sent everything priority mail with delivery confirmation AND emailed to confirm receipt. I chose email because I had written verification should I ever need it.

Email works. Calling works. Stay on top of them though, because A&M and their stupid (thankfully now obsolete) rec letter receiving system LOST my LOR for a month. They kept telling me they did not receive it and made me send it in TWICE, once paying $17 to overnight it. I had a meltdown and made them look in every nook and cranny for it until they finally found it. I probably lost a year of my life from the stress of that... then didn't even end up going there!
