I wanted to know if it's a good idea to call a school's office to speak to someone to get advice on applying to that particular school. I've tried it with a couple, and have gotten some useful info.

Is this taboo or not?

There is nothing wrong with setting up an appointment time to meet with the admissions directors. They are starting to get rather busy now, so you may have awhile to wait. I meet with one every other semester to make sure I was doing what I needed to do. They also gave me suggestions for where I could get clinical experiance , community service places and what classes were best to take.

Quick question, when is it a less busy time to talk with them? I don't want to bug them during the high season 😀

thanks!

Bug them in the winter time
