Calling up schools

Has anyone called up dental schools and specifically told them their DAT scores/gpa/ec and received an idea of where they stand and what chance they stand? I go to U of MN and their dental admissions people don't really give you much info on getting the nod or not.

thats the thing. all the schools will tell you to apply, because in the end dental schools are a business and money has to come from somewhere. With that said, it is up to you as the applicant to make a decision in regards to which schools you should apply to, that is why the schools publish and post stats from previous application cycles. It is not up to the dental school, it is up to you. Remember, you need them, they don't necessarily need you. Thats my take.
