why does it take 6 turns of the calvin cycle to make 1 glucose?

1glucose = 6Carbon => 2PGAL is made in 1 cycle
PGAL = 3C
glucose = 6C
1 cycle makes 2 PGAL = 6C = glucose

so shouldn't it only take 1 turn of the calvin cycle to make 1 glucose?
where am i going wrong 🙁

6 turns makes 12 PGAL. 10 of those goes back to regenerate RuBP. Other 2 into glucose. 🙂

but one of the kaplan blue book problem says
10 turns of the calvin cycle will produce:
A: 10 CO2
B: 20 PGAL
C: 20 RBP
D: 36 ATP
E: 5 glucose

and the answer is B)20PGAL
if it's really 20PGAL that means we shouldn't consider PGAL that recycles?

just because something is recycled doesn't mean it was never produced...the question asks how many are produced...doesn't ask for a net amount.
