I know CAM plants are like C4 plants, but only gather CO2 at night.
But my question is:

1)Do CAM plants still have a bundle sheath like the C4 or is it like the C3 plants which is not compartmentalized?

2) Do all plants have mesophyll, and just some have bundle sheath?

Any other useful info you want to add would be greatly appreciated also

Thanks

in CAM photosynthesis, Malic acid (a product of CO2) is sent to the vacuole of the cell and not sent to a bundle sheath cell as in C4 photosynthesis. At night the malic acid accumulates in the vacuole b/c stoma are open. During the day stoma are closed and malic acid is converted back to CO2 to be sent to the Calvin Cycle.

Mesophyl and Bundle Sheath cells are only found in C4 plants.
