I'm getting an early start for the applications so it won't be such a hassle during the middle of the fall semester with PCATs, midterms, etc.

I just printed out the supplemental application for Cambell University and there is an area at the top where you have to attach a recent photo. Since it should be a headshot, would taking a passport photo suffice? What did you do for your application?

I did that app too. Just go to a local drugstore and have them take a passport photo for you. They just have you sit in front of a small background and take a digital camera photo like you would yourself.

Hello everyone,

I am a newbie here and not able to post any thread yet but I found a thread about Campbell so I am just wondering if anyone can give me some pointers. I got a call from Campbell for the MSPS (Master of Sciences in Pharmaceutical Sciences)/PHd in Pharmacy starting this August. Just wondering what everyone's view on this one. Please help! Does entrance into this program guarantee your acceptance for the 2007 pharmacy program at Campbell? Thanks 🙂

Amy

acceptance to the Pharm.D program is not guaranteed, but if you do well (3.5+ GPA) the first year of the MSPS program your chances of getting in for 2007 will greatly improve.

I got accepted to the Masters in Clinical Research/Pharm D joint degree program for this fall. It is 5 years, The first year is mostly clinical research classes, but you can also take one pharmD class per semester (like anatomy or biochem for example). Then the second year (your P1 year) you take mostly pharmacy classes but you still have to take like 2 clinical research classes per semester. Then the 3rd year (P2) you have to do a clinical research project. But it works out so a lot of the classes u take in the clinical research program substitute for classes in the pharmD program. So actually ur p3 year u will be taking less credits than everyone else. It is a conditional acceptance, you have to keep a 3.0 to keep ur spot in the pharmD class for fall '07. But you have to keep a 3.0 to even graduate with the masters in clinical research anyways, if u don't i think u have to take classes over or something.
