Camera to Interview?

Has anyone taken pictures while at interview? Is it seen as not professional since you are suppose to pay attention to what the tourist says?

It could be seen as unprofessional, but the bigger concern is violating patient privacy in case you are visiting the clinics. To be safe, I would leave the camera at home.

i don't find it weird. but i can see taking pictures of patients as a potential problem. if you want pictures to live by when you're touring--do it! just don't flash in peoples' faces.

I did it. Just don't take pics of patient or anything that could potentially violate HIPPA. I interviewed at 8 places, so the pics were nice to remember some things when I made my decision.

My husband usually drops me off, then he tours the city and then comes back and wanders around and takes pix of the campus. He usually gets one pic of me in front of the schools dental sign too.

you're there for an interview, not to be a tourist.

if you get into that school, you'll have plenty of chance to take pictures.

if you don't, then why would you want pictures of a school that you're not even attending

There's no reason not to bring your camera, I think. If you have multiple interviews this will help you remember the school, and maybe more importantly what you liked about the school. Plus you can use pictures to compare facilities, i.e. dent sim lab. And brag to real life friends about the cool D1 schools you've been to.😀
