CAMPBELL for bio?? which edition?

Hi guys,

i see that many of u have used Campbell for biology. by that u mean the text book or the student guide?? what edition did u guys use? Thanks. I have the text book that's like a pale sea green.

I have Campbell bio, 7th edition, the black one with a bean! on the cover,
its one of the best, by the way its a text book, u can get the study guide but I really didnt find it useful.

if you are hardcore studying from the text book then you should do a little bit each day prior to your hardcore DAT study. Best time to do this is when you take General Biology.

ok, i went home and saw that i had the 3rd edition (blue cover)

do u think 3rd and 6th edition make a difference? i'm sure it's just the order of the chapters that differ, not much NEW info...

? what do u think.? otherwise, where can u purchase the 6th/7th edition?

yeap...the best way to study hardcore from Campbell is actually when you are taking the course. I think thats what helped me to get through the book twice or thrice in 6 weeks. I solely depended on Campbell with Cliffs as review material.

I think using a 3rd edition would not be wise.....buy the 7th Edition (Black cover) from half.com....7th edition is now being sold at a lesser price now because the 8th edition is out in the market.
