In short my situation is as follows:

During my 1st year of undergrad at a quarter-system university I used my physics AP credit to start at Intro Physics III (4 units + lab), after which I took an upper-div physics class (4 lecture units + NO lab). In semester units, this is 5.33 lecture credits and 2.67 lab credits of physics.

I then transferred to a semester-system university and took one semester-long intro physics course with lab (4 units + lab). So now in total, in semester units, I have 9.33 lecture credits and 6.67 lab units. I know most med schools, according to MSAR, require or strongly "recommend" 8 units of physics lecture+lab.

Is it possible that the 1.33 lab credits could be overlooked, especially considering the reason I lack these 1.33 credits is solely due to the fact that I took an upper division physics class instead of a lower div lab class? The alternative is that I take another whole semester of physics lec+lab, which would not only be really frustrating but would also take up a spot in my schedule that I would love to fill with an upper div bio or chem class :/

Should I call all of the med schools I'm planning on applying to and ask? This would be a lot of work but not as much work as taking another semester of physics lol
Thoughts?

They are looking for 2 physics classes with corresponding labs. 6+2, you’ve got that covered.
