can anybody tell about toefl pattern changing

my part 1is getting old and need to take it again ,can anybody giv eme information about the pattern change and from when is it going to b implemented

yup the pattern is changing . i think its supposed to be implemented by september 2005.
check their website.
there are removing the secion on structure reading... and replacing it with spoken english. i mean there will make u hear conversation pieces and then u have to speak the answer. the answer will be recorded and then later evaluated.
i dont know how it works but i had read it on the toefl website and in the toefl prep books.

In the USA, the new toefl starts in sept 2005

in Canada, it starts in October 2005

In other countries such as India, China, and also throughout South America, it will start in 2006

In the reading part, there will be only 3 passages (ALL LONG).
