Does anybody know if we are allowed to bring in a non-dental person to be our assistant for the WREB? I'm planning on bringing my fiance to assist me and I'd just like to know if someone else has done something similar in the past without getting rejected/dismissed. Thank you!!

It should say in the candidate manual. I know CRDTS does not allow your assistant to be a dentist or dental student that is 3/4 year.
Does your fiancee have any dental assisting experience? A good assistant can really make the day easier. Maybe you want to think about hiring one if he is not experienced.

anyone can be your assistant as long as he/she is not: 1) a dental student in 3rd or 4th year or 2) a licensed dentist
you are also not allowed to have an RDH for an assistant for the perio part
you are also not allowed to have an RDH for an assistant for the perio part
