I'm doing my research in Vishnevsky Institute of Surgery, Moscow. It concerns with portal system hypertension in patients with chronic pancreatitis. Can anyone help me in searching and receiving some full-text articles? May be someone has an access to a good library? I'd extremely appreciate your help.
Here is the list of articles:
- Noninvasive grading of the severity of portal hypertension in cirrhotic patients by echo-color-Doppler. Ultrasound Med Biol. 2001 Jul;27(7):901-7.
- Portal hypertension and portal hypertensive gastropathy in patients with liver cirrhosis: a haemodynamic study. Dig Liver Dis. 2003 Apr;35(4):269-74.
- Doppler sonography and hepatic vein catheterization in portal hypertension: assessment of agreement in evaluating severity and response to treatment. J Hepatol. 1998 Apr;28(4):622-30.
- Splenic Doppler impedance indices: influence of different portal hemodynamic conditions. Hepatology. 1996 May;23(5):1035-40.
- Hepatic arterial resistance in cirrhosis with and without portal vein thrombosis: relationships with portal hemodynamics. Gastroenterology. 1995 Apr;108(4):1152-8.

I'll see what I can do... I was always amazed at the wonderful hospitality I always received in Moscow (pre-medical school days).

Does your library not have a way to order journal articles? In many smaller medical libraries that do not have all the obscure journals, the librarians have access to services like Loansome Doc , and can receive a full-text article in a few weeks.
