hey i would really appreciate if you could help me out here... i looked at the feedbacks.. but was wondering if i could getsome more feedback on how the questions were during the interview at UNLV... i have mine in 3 weeks... thanks a lottt

Personally I though he was hilarious, the sexual innuendo wasn't quite appropriate for the setting, but hilarious none-the-less

Oh I totally agree. The presentation was terrible, then he brought it to life. I was no longer tired and his impression of bacteria pooping out acid was hilarious.

It is just like every other interview. Probably easier than most. Student asks you about your essay, interviewer gives you 30 minutes or so. I was asked about amalgam. It was way laid back though.


Lunch sucked, presentations til noon, interview and go home about 1:30 ish.

Oh yeah, one kid wore a mohawk. That is all I remember. Don't forget to bet it all on black. 👍

Why would it be uncomfortable? He is just doing his job and trying to be a good teacher and bring life to boring subjects....I thought he was wonderful and wish more teachers were like him.

Oh believe me, it was time consuming. Also, I wasn't too sure if I wanted to give any help to someone that I'm competing with. But now that I have, I feel a lot better about myself.

Look into interview feedbacks for UNLV in SDN. Those give you an idea what to expect. 🙂

IMO,
Homosexual (or heterosexual) innuendo has no place in a classroom. Students that were there complained at how it made them feel way uncomfortable. I would agree with them. That's all. There are better ways to bring life to subjects. Referring to students as "naughty slave bacteria" ain't cool with me.

I had an interview there. Everyone gets different interviewers. The students were telling me my interviewer was kinda different and they made me a little worried . But the interview went really well, he was a very nice guy. You will enjoy the day, just don't be nervous.

file will be looked at beforehand. very laid back. just look at the feedback on here and you should be fine.
