I already created a resume for my LOR writers and whatnot. I was not aware that some medical schools do ask for a resume. Does anyone know what a good resume looks like, format-wise? Right now, I have headings like education, research, volunteer experience, etc but I'm not sure if this is as professional or organized as it could be. I've googled this before, but I'm still uncertain as to the recommended format. Can we use bullet points? Can it exceed 1 page? Do we need an objective? Also, how far back can I list activities/awards?

Which school asks for a resume? What's the need when the activities are listed on AMCAS already?

Typically you're going to be using a CV in academic settings, not a resume. I would verify that a resume is specifically being requested and that a CV is not acceptable. In CVs, it's appropriate and even the focus to discuss things like research experiences, volunteer experiences, and relevant ECs.

If you Google "CV format," you'll come up with plenty of examples.
