Can Australian Dentists practise in USA?
I am a Dentist from India. Finished my Part 1 and 2 of Australian Dental Council. Now, I would like to move to USA as my husband is working in the USA.

I would like to know if I can practise in the USA with my Australian Dental License? OR Should I give the NBDE exams again and follow the usual lengthy procedure.

Please advice. Thanks in advance - Dr. Meenu

Hi MeenuDentist,! Only dentists who graduated from American or canadian schools are allowed to practice in the US. Everyone else has to take NBDE 1 & 2 and then go back to school for another 2 years.

thank u....so that means the procedure is same for all the international students....
