Can DO's sign outside???

Does anyone know if do's an sign into allopathic prog outside the match??? I mean say a your home DO program assures you a spot however you may want to go to an allopathic program... what do you do, do you take a chance with the match or go to the DO prog???

Basically if we can sign outside of the match for allopathic spots this takes care of alot of my problems???
