Can I do that? Say I decided to apply to a school now and then I would change my mind and decide to add a few schools to the list. I was just thinking that way because I would apply to few lower tier schools before retaking MCAT in August and then when I get hopefully a better score, will apply to the others.
Have anyone done that?

If you are taking the August mcat, you should designate so on the AMCAS application. It's perfectly fine to only designate a few schools at the beginning and add schools later on. That way it will give them time to process your application. However, if you are taking the August MCATS, schools will not touch your application until your scores come in mid-October.

Of course, there may be exceptions......
