Can I apply until after my Summer program?

Can I wait until my Summer program ends to apply so I can get a letter from the PI I will be working with and put the experience on my app? It ends in early August.

My two cents as a fellow applicant for this upcoming cycle. You don't want to submit an app that isn't ready but at the same time early >>> late. I will mention that you can put future experiences on your app and project the hours.

Don’t wait. Put the experience on your app (you can put future end dates). Have your summer PI send a LOR directly to the schools as an update at the end of summer (pretty common thing to happen).
