Depending on the state you live in you need to either be 18 or 21 to handle medications.

Also, some states require more than just a Tech certification to work as a pharmacy technician.

This means you would have to perform a lot more, and the tech position becomes similar to a career program rather than it is now... many students become technicians for work experience, recommendations, etc.

I'm 17 right now, still in highschool, I need to save up money for college, and I was wondering if i can work at walgreens as a pharmacy tech. i have no prior working experience. A walgreen is only 9 minutes walking from my house. Will they train me? What do pharm techs do in walgreens? What is the pay? What is the hour shifts or whatever? My communication is a average(I struggle to hold up a conversation after 4 minutes, after that it gets akward/silence etc...). What do i need to wear to the interview? Where is the interview held at? I am willing to work 6 hours a night. I live in california Bay Area if that helps.

Yes, they will train you.
What do pharm techs do in walgreens? What is the pay? What do i need to wear to the interview? Search for the answers yourself
What is the hour shifts or whatever? Where is the interview held at? Your employer and you will discuss about it
My communication is a average(I struggle to hold up a conversation after 4 minutes, after that it gets akward/silence etc...). Who wants you to become a conversationalist???
I am willing to work 6 hours a night. Tell your employer
I live in california Bay Area if that helps. It would help if you do a little research yourself. Don't you know the search function in this SDN? Don't you know Google? However, http://www.pharmacy.ca.gov/forms/tch_app_pkt.pdf from CA Board. Read it yourself.
