No, this isn’t research, it’s coursework. It would be like trying to argue that your chem lab report counts as research.Hello!
Last January I spent about a month abroad with a class for a research intensive course. I was in my own group with two other members where we created our own study on plant ecology in a region of the country. We made a poster and was supposed to present at a conference however COVID-19 forced the conference to be cancelled. IMO I think this should count as research because we designed and executed the study on our own with some help from our professor. Does the fact that I received credit for this as a course discredit this as "research experience" for medical school?
Thanks in advanced!
Now, if you actually submitted the poster and it was accepted to the conference, then you could potentially list that if you were actually an author. Otherwise this is not research.
