So, I didn't do so well my first few years in college and wound up with B's/C's in my basic Bio/Chem/O-Chem classes.

However, I've since aced a post bacc full of more advanced classes.

Instead of using General Bio can I pick say Genetics/Genetics lab as my biology prereq?
Or Advanced Organic Chem/Lab instead of my introductory O-chem classes?

I'm really nervous about my application given my borderline stats and October primary.

Typically it will tell you what types of courses you can select for each program, and if it is General Biology, you usually can't use Genetics instead since it's not semester I or semester II General Biology. However, if you're unsure you could just select both and they'll filter it out anyways.

AACOMAS lets me select any courses as prereqs.
Yeah it will let you select anything you want, but just be sure to read each program's instructions for selecting the prerequisites. For example, if you selected Organic Chemistry 1 and 2 for your General Chemistry then they would filter it out, but it would probably better to just follow the directions haha. Some schools have you select your pre-reqs for General Biology then further down the list you select all your other Biology courses.
