I think you will be fine! Where have you applied?

I have not applied anywhere yet because I am applying for the 2019 start, so deadlines are this upcoming winter. But I plan on applying to Western Michigan, Grand Valley State and Eastern Michigan University. But I would like to add a few more schools to my list just in case I am not accepted to any of the schools in Michigan.

Thank you, I appreciate the response! Any advice on other schools to apply to?
I am not sure as I am not from the Michigan area, but I know myself, I am going to apply to schools near my area and those in surrounding states to try to stay close to home. So that would be my advice, see what programs are in neighboring states!

Yeah I have been looking in the surrounding areas as well. It is just tough to find the right set of pre-reqs. Where are you planning on applying?

Hi! I'm also a Michigan applicant. I'll also be applying to eastern.. next week! If I don't get into Eastern, I'm applying to Grand Valley, Wayne State, Toledo, UM Flint, and probably a few in Ohio. I've heard that Western is extremely difficult to get into, and they needed a prereq that can only be taken at their school, so I'm not applying there.

My stats are similar to yours.
Major: Biology
GPA: 3.45
pre-req GPA: 3.7
last 60 GPA: 3.7
GRE: 149V 151Q 3.5W

Good Luck!!!

Thanks for the response! I’ve heard the same about Western too but I’m talking the class right now online so I can apply. What schools in Ohio are you looking at?

Also, how long did it take EMU to approve your pre few courses? I just sent mine in, will they get approved in time you think?

Hey!

I'm not sure which in ohio I want to apply to. That's something I'll think more about if I don't get into eastern. It took eastern about a week to approve my prereqs!!
