whats the special science program like? is it effective in getting people into medical school? how much structure is involved in the curriculum? is it easy to network with other postbac'ers in the same boat as you? thanks guys any feed back would be greatly appreciated
i have about a 3.47 undergrad GPA non-science major. i've finished all the pre-reqs except physics which i will be done with either next sem or the summer.. my problem is my med pre-reqs grades were a mixture of B's and C's giving me an unimpressive 2.7-2.8 =(... would you advise the special science program in my situation.. just afraid i will be weeded out before medschools even take a look at my application because of my poor science grades.. i really would like a change of scenery.. and UPENN is really nice.
