can i get some tips about BIO section?

BIO has been always my weakest area.

i still do not quite sure how to study for it.

is it simple memorization?

i see many many terms... so other than understanding something like meiosis or glycolysis

do i have to memorize all the terms and definition?

can i please get some tips... about studying for bio section please!

I took my DAT today. The Biology section was the main thing that I probably studied the most for. With that being said, a lot of the Biology questions were beyond random. Some of the things I had never even seen before and I am majoring in Biology. I ended up doing well on it. Pretty much expect anything and everything Biology related. I would go through stuff and not expect them to ask things that random, but they do.

Had a similar question on mine I believe, but it came down to testing the 9+2 construction of cilia on my test rather than anything about mucus etc.

They ask simple questions in round-about ways that often require you to know 2 simple topics.

I had stuff about cell cycle inhibition via drugs. Other questions about what happens when a drug inhibits microtubule formation in meiosis.
