Essentially, I have 2 years to become a wolf man?I grew a beard about that long, so if that's any indication... You'll be fine. But come MS3, you best tone it down.

Yea, just like Clay would be fine (in my book)...I'm out in Cali, residents wear nose rings...I've also seen nurses with purple mohawks (culture of acceptance/diversity)What about a pony tail?![]()

I'm not sure. I was thinking it was something older but I'm drawing a blankIsn't it one of those Netflix series?
It's from Colony I thinkWhat show is this from? I having such a hard time placing it and it's driving me crazy haha
Oh you're right! I was thinking of lost which the same guy was in. Thank you it was driving me crazy for some reason hahaIt's from Colony I think
I thought it might be Prison Break at first since she was the prison doc in that show hahaOh you're right! I was thinking of lost which the same guy was in. Thank you it was driving me crazy for some reason haha
Yep, Colony. It fascinates and repels me that his hair retains the exact same degree of awful stringy unkemptness.Isn't it one of those Netflix series?
Dumb question, but why do you have to cut it for rotations? There have been a couple guys with long hair in my med school (one with ~shoulder length, a couple long enough to do a little bun). It was fine M1/M2, but they cut it in time for rotations.
Because your preceptors will grade you. In theory it should be on objective factors, but the grades will be based mostly on their perception of you. Introducing behavior or appearance outside of what is "expected" could potentially bias the preceptor in a negative way.Dumb question, but why do you have to cut it for rotations?
If you can walk on water, you would definitely be allowed.
it's dat sweet sweet future doctor moneyYour time for looking like a weirdo is m1-m2. Your time to look like a weirdo is not the interview cycle or M3-M4.
Anyway, I was playing with the idea of growing a patchy beard and having long hair. Why not? I literally am just doing whatever I want at this point and having a good time. I'll just have to get my GF to learn to love it... A tough sell, no doubt.
Although I was pretty homely when she met me, so it must not be the looks keeping us together!
